Independence
Brex Card Reference accepts no payment for coverage, placement, ranking or favourable treatment. No company mentioned on this site has any influence over what we publish, and no page is reviewed by a company before publication.
We carry no affiliate links. If a link would earn us money, we do not use it.
Sourcing standards
Reference pages are written from primary sources: official product documentation, issuer disclosures, regulator publications and payment network material. Sources are listed at the foot of each reference page.
Where a fact cannot be sourced primarily, we either omit it or state plainly that it is uncertain. We do not repeat figures from secondary aggregators as though they were established.
- Primary documentation is preferred over any secondary reporting.
- Uncertainty is stated explicitly rather than smoothed over.
- Volatile figures — limits, fees, rates — are described structurally rather than quoted.
- Jurisdiction is stated where a rule is jurisdiction-specific.
Authorship and review
Every reference page has a named author and, where the subject is security-sensitive or terminology-heavy, a named fact-checking reviewer. Both appear at the top of the page along with the update date.
Nothing on this site is published anonymously, and we do not use synthetic bylines.
What we refuse to publish
This list is as important as anything we do publish, because these are the formats that most reliably mislead readers in this category.
- Ratings, review scores, stars or numeric grades of any kind.
- Awards, badges or “best of” rankings, ours or anyone else's.
- Fabricated testimonials, case studies or user reviews.
- Approval odds, guaranteed limits or eligibility promises.
- Any form that collects credentials, applications or financial data.
Use of automated tools
We use software for research assistance, formatting and consistency checks. We do not publish machine-generated text as finished editorial content, and a named human editor is responsible for the accuracy of every page.
Where a tool assists, the responsibility for the output remains entirely with the named author.
Corrections
Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed. Material corrections — those that change the meaning of a statement — are noted on the page. Minor fixes such as typography are made without a note.
Anyone can report an error through the contact page, and we do not require you to identify yourself to do so.
Trademarks and nominative use
Brex and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to identify the subject we document, which is standard nominative use for reference publishing.
We do not reproduce logos, brand assets, screenshots or proprietary material, and every page states clearly that we are independent and unaffiliated.
